PHOTO: Alex and Ethan's wedding

June 24th, 2017 was the day Alex and Ethan decided on for the celebration of the start of their new lives together. LOE was tasked with capturing the day in both still and motion (video) photography. We arrived to the Marriott around 1pm while the guys and girls were still getting ready. The boys were jovial hanging out in their room and the girls were just finishing hair and make-up and still in their robes made specially for the day! After dressing Alex did a first look with her girls who were thrilled to see their friend in her wedding dress. Ethan was looking suave in his deep blue suit and running his hand through his perfect mane of hair haha. After everyone was ready we set up Ethan at the bottom of a large stair case for the first look. It was here we captured our favorite image of the day where Ethan pulls his soon to be bride in for a quick kiss. We then did a few with the whole bridal party in the hotel lobby and just outside, trying to keep cool from the late June sun. We then hopped on the party bus and headed over to the Goei Center a fantastic all in one venue in Grand Rapids, MI to do a few more pictures before heading inside for the ceremony and reception. The ceremony went off without a hitch and was full of laughter and joy. After which the couple enjoyed cocktail hour with family and friends before entering the reception space for the introductions! Their first dance was everything and we got lots of great images of the them soaking it in! After we heard some rousing speeches from family and friends and moved to cake cutting and Grandpa + bride and Mother + groom dances. But the real party was just getting started! The dance floor erupted with the energy of a group who you can tell were just itching to get out and strut their stuff! Everyone had an amazing time and so did we capturing it all! These photos capture the visual beauty of the day in stunning detail, now its up to the film to tell the story!
